Before the introduction of the McLaren F1, the XJ220 was
the fastest car in the world. This is beautifully designed car but difficult to drive, the XJ220
retains all the amenities usually associated with a Jaguar and is the finest true GT in the world.
Only 280 of these remarkable hand-built vehicles have been produced, making the XJ220 extremely attractive to the enthusiastic buyer, but it's worth nothing to the unadulterated power of this magnificent machine. The 3.5 litre twin turbo 542BHP engine enables the car to accelerate from rest to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds with a top speed of over 200mph, a fact that Formula One driver Martin Brundle took the car to an unbelievable 217.1 mph when track testing in Italy. Check out the Technical Specifications below and view some of the images to see what I mean.
