After 60 years of being out of the lime light, the Bugatti name hadn't been
used, but then in 1991 a group of investors restored the name. The intention was to
produce a supercar that would blow the automotive world and the competition away.
The result was the Bugatti EB110, a truely exotic monster of a car.
The car has a quad turbo V12 3500cc engine powering all four wheels through a six speed gear box, capable of 611bhp and a top speed of 212mph. This is comparable to the McLaren F1, but is a full 1100 lbs heavier, significantly reducing it's 0-60 time, and 1/4 mile sprint speed. One of the main differences between this and the McLaren F1 is the elegence of the design, which despite having next to no luggage space, has a leather interior, burled wood trim, a cd stereo system and many powered accessories. Despite these luxuries, the car didn't sell well and Bugatti was declared bankrupt in 1996. However, the legacy of this awesome car lives on in the remaining Bugatti EB110's, owned by the rich and envied by everyone else. Check out the Technical Specifications below and view some images of the car.
