This is a sculpture I did whilst on a Foundation course
in Art and Design. It was constructed by bending a number of pieces
of glass into exactly the same "L" shape. The glass was
placed on plaster blocks with an additive to stop them disintegrating
in the kiln. Once I'd produced all ten pieces required, they were
glued together using silicone sealant. You can see the dried silicon between the
glass sections against the light background.
